CSS3 resizable tabs with rollovers. As far as I know, at this point in time this only works in KHTML engine browsers such as Safari and Konquerer. If the links just look like rectangular blocks of flat colour then your browser doesn't support CSS3 multiple backgrounds.

Try resizing the text in your browser, the tabs will scale to fit the text at any size.
